This snare is a newly restored drum. Another old stencil snare, and this one really sounds good, if I coulds only tap into it's potential. In other words, I still can't play....Anyway, if you have any desire to purchase this little girl, message me with your intent, and we can make a deal. I will not give it away, as I do have money in it, a new strainer and butt plate, heads and snares. The finish is a custom applied 7 layer of lacquer with superfine glitter inbedded. The shell is 5 plies of asian mahogany with reinforcement rings top and bottom, snare beds reworked. There is very little snare buzz. This drum sounds so much better than in these videos as the camera is a still with video capture. So, make an offer, but don't embarrass yourself.

This snare is now getting Semi-Pro play. I traded it for a drum I don't like, but at least I am getting my name and work out in public. Vintage wood shells have so much more character than new wood. I take old stuff and either restore it to original or will custom build kits. I take orders for custom restoration work. Please leave a message on my message box and I will get back to you. My work is good and I work for less than going rates, more for the love of the instrument than for a living.
