Am I better off? NO not at all 8 years ago I hat two well paying jobs, a bright future and a luxury loft in San Jose. I'm of even better off this year then I was 2 years ago. 2 years ago I was working a full time position for a government agency, being paid very well living in a house in Las Gatos with my 3 year old, and going to school fulltime. Today I'm relocated to Lodi do to the rising price of gas and housing, i'm barely making ends meet, I'm up to my ears in debt and I'm jobless, better off my ass!

Your kidding right? The $5 Trillion is mostly from the war that no matter who was in office we would be engaged in. Obama wants $1 Trillion within the 1st year for his programs NOT including universal health care & alternative energies that are NOT ready for full time expantion...
