Obama Worshipers Full of Blissful Ignorance 4-28-10

Curious to find out what it is about President Barack Obama that drew young people to hear him speak in Quincy, Ill., I interviewed several of them as they prepared to enter the Oakley Lindsay Civic Center Wednesday afternoon. As the video below reveals, I learned that the Obama worshipers were full of blissfully ignorance.

For the most part, the young people -- most of whom described themselves as college students -- were excited about seeing the president, but short on details about what made them dyed-in-the-wool Obama supporters.

The president was in Quincy as the third stop of his White House to Main Street Tour and used the occasion to call for tighter government controls on the nation's financial sector (a.k.a., the people he regards as "the evil villains on Wall Street").
