People, stop trying to make MessagePads modern. Really. Yes, you can play MP3s on it and do wifi and so on, BUT its NOT like you think it is. It takes a lot of nerdiness to get done, TIME and the results honestly, suck.
As a note taker, doc writer, PIM and Getting Things Done device, the MPs still can work great, but don't try making it an iPad or some internet device. Its really not powerful and fast enough.

Does anyone have a clue if there's a CompactFlash-to-PCMCIA adaptor that works with the Newt? i know that there's ATA drivers for the newt. If you want to ask why, well, i want to get a 2100 and get it working with a 512mb CompactFlash card i don't use. yes, i know 512mb is rather excessive for the Newt.

I had no idea the Newton could play music. Can you connect stereo headphones to it?

i saw a couple of other videos with the newton and i thought "hmm that's cool scrubbing, correcting and stuff..."
but then i saw this one and went like "...LMAO ROFL music player?!?!"
also i saw a video with a newton playing a video.
the newton 2100 is truly a remarkable device.
but what formats does it use for video/music?
anyway the fact that it has music player is simply appaling...
