Chinook's high speed

There was an attack outside southgate towards Taji and these two cats came out of no-where, had to have already been on patrol due to the quick response. The first bird is hauling but the second was moving even faster.

How fast is an Apache then? Because the Chinook is substantialy faster.

I would say they are doing right around 150-160 knots (170-180mph) anything more than 160kts and the aircraft flies pretty rough (depending on blade track). Vne (velocity never to exceed) is 170 kts or 195mph.

And no I am not just talking out my ass, I have over 1000 hours in the Chinook
