Mark Green, NYC's first Public Advocate is running again for this elected office in the face of a recent budget cut of 40% to the Office of the Public Advocate by the Mayor. This is extreme and objectionable as the Public Advocate exists to represent our issues to the Mayor and all City agencies. When funding for this office is cut, the people's voices are effectively silenced. Speak up and ask the Mayor to restore your voice by restoring funding to the Office of the Public Advocate.
