There is no disharmony in music, only dissonance. Yes, many of us hear music in this piece.

sounds like a piece that would be put in a movie... like on a creepy eerie-like scene lol.

It's not even a case of "you either get it or you don't-. "It's about leaving people to enjoy their own personal experience and not trying to convince them out of it because you don't happen to feel the same way".

John Cage isn't a pretentious artist, he was one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, his music was made to wake us up to the world we live in. Also, stop dicking around. If someone enjoys this music that's their opinion. Sorry you are incapable of making a rebuttal, go be invalid somewhere else.

First of all, this piece can be enjoyed through the feeling of fear or unknown inducting upon those who are subject to the piece's effects. Second,. if you had studied music past high school mr.musical genius, you'd know this is aleatoric/ chance music. Third, musical art is sonic art if you even knew what sonic means.
Fourth, you say you hate noise musicians. That is the most redundant and ironic statement I have ever seen. What do you want? A visual musician?

I didn't say "obviously you don't". People dislike my opinion on sonic art, not my punctuation and grammar. Considering my comment starts "I hate pretentious art like this" do you really think I'm worried about people liking my comment? Happy New Year to you good sir!

I understand what you're saying here. But you should understand that people won't listen to you if you aren't going to use correct grammar and punctuation. You have a valid point (just like everyone else), but you should know that anytime you use the words "obviously you don't" in any context on YouTube that your comment will be disliked. People take that as a judgement on your part. There are ways of displaying your opinion, but bashing people via YouTube comment is not one. Happy New Year!
