Overview of Maleki GmbH Green Building Materials. We develop Dry Mortar products, such as waterproofing, self leveling flooring, render/plaster, grout and we are involved in projects where we develop green and low carbon footprint concrete for clients. Essentially we try and reduce CO2 emissions by replacing cement with secondary raw materials or natural pozzolanic materials which have similar properties to cement. Why? To put it simple, cement powder manufacturing is responsible for about 6 % of the worlds CO2 emissions. 1 ton of cement in average triggers of 1 ton of CO2 - if we are serious about tackling climate change, then this is one of the most effective ways or reducing the CO2 emissions of this planet, because alternative technology is available and is even better in performance. We have better chemical resistance, less cracking, no efflorescence and better adhesion in comparison to normal cement based dry mortars.....for more info, check out http://www.malekigmbh.com/
