Great Job. I am watching all your tuts for sketch up because I really find it interesting.
Thanks A Lot. Videos like this are much easier to understand than reading it without much visual representation.

Aiden,
You mention the The Sketchup Show podcast - Is this only available for Mac users?
I have found the school site but I am unable to do anything with it.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi there,
I just tested the site on a Windows machine with Firefox, and things seem to work fine. To watch the videos, you need to have a Quicktime plugin -- maybe that's not working on your system.
Hope that helps,
Aidan

At timestamp :35 what did you press to get that tiny box to show up so that the line would be at the right length to close the loop at 90 degree angles.

Hi there,
I didn't actually press anything to get that "inference" to show up -- it appeared automatically when I moved the cursor into the proper position. If it hadn't shown up, though, I could have "encouraged" it. Check out "Keeping an eye out for inferences" and "Using inferences to help you model" (a couple of other videos from Chapter 2) for more information. Good luck!

Aidan,
Great videos. I have a question further than how to put it together. Can I import my floorplans and trace over them for accuracy? How do I paste the elevations on the extruded floorplan for accuracy. A friend (client) imports the elevations, traces over them and then push/pulls them to the correct dimensions. I am a dummy and cannot figure it all out. Any input is appreciated.

Hi there,
You should check out episode #20 of "The SketchUp Show" podcast, which is produced by School. I can't put a URL here, unfortunately, but a Google search ought to turn up the right thing... Good luck, Aidan
