I found this video through your iPhone glitter case video you were making, I'm a guy. You caught me off guard when you said you go to medical school. My first impressions were "this girl is pretty. She sounds very ditzy. Whaaatttt?!" it's my dream to become a doctor and I watched you ramble from start to finish and I've got to say, it inspired me a ton more! Thanks, Louie.

@kaceebarista You can make it. I was a 17 year old freshman in 2009 and I didn’t know how much work it was. I had missed High School because of a disease I had, so I was just beginning with my education. I took an Arabic Language class, Math, Political Science, and an English class…twas brutal, mostly because Arabic has so many different accents and such, I had to type a 9 page Arabic essay, 20 page English essay, and one on the constitution! what was your gpa in undergrad? I've just now decided that i wanna apply to med school next year, but my grades were not good in my first 2 years of undergrad :S they have improved in my 3rd and 4th but i think altogether my gpa is only like 3.3 or something :( i'm thinking it's mainly because i haven't really enjoyed my program/courses though, i've just not really had much interest so i haven't studied, but I've always loved medicine (it's not what I'm in right now) but yeah lol...just wonderin

I'm a junior in high school and I want to be a doctor, but I'm not entirely sure what to major in for my undergrad. This really inspires me to believe in the old, yet true adage, "Take it one day at a time."

I'm only a freshman in high school but I'm planning to become a CardioThoracic surgeon. :D I know its going to be hard as hell, and I'm going to need to work by freaking butt off, but I know it's all going to worth it at the end. This video is kind of scary but very inspiring :) at what age did you graduate from high school? because i noticed you said you were the second youngest in your class, and I have a feeling it's going to be the same for me. I'm graduating HS when I'm 17

@faniechanel Regardless of location and specialty, MDs are preferred over DOs. I'm not bashing DOs, some are great doctors. Nonetheless, allopathic med schools students are more competitive than osteopathic ones. Residency spots are dominated by allopathic students and at the end of the day I want the most qualified individual monitoring my health.
