THis is my favorite Prelude, and this is my favorite performance of it; it has a beguiling simplicity under Pogorelich's hands, and his tempo is perfection. He gave us the greatest ever recording of all the Chopin Preludes, fortunately when he was at the peak of his powers. This pianist was a staggering genius.

Clearly you are the one needing a hearing aid adjustment. Chopin would turn in his grave at the hack-job rendering here, no question. Pogo-man is vastly over-rated as an artist, especially when it comes to Chopin.
