Sorry for the quality and shaky recording. Just wanted to share this thought after the sony presser.
Today Sony announced a new 24 inch 3d tv at $499. They also said that people can play split-screen games full screen. The crowd applauded.
I love Sony and their products. Heck I have a 40'' active 3d bravia downstairs next to my stack of ps3 games, but this is already available and you don't need $200 glasses.
I picked up My passive 3d Vizio at costco for $700.
Any questions?
I'm not sure why people think I'm bashing Sony. I think they're great and thanks to them, in the future I wont have to play on half-assed resolution because of them.

Wrong.
These glasses are passive glasses and are cheap. They are the same glasses that the 3D cinema use.
Active glasses are the expensive ones and are crap IMO.

Ok... So I have a 46' Vizio 3D TV and 3D in games and Movies it's FANTASTICIAL! and yet I can't seem to bring up the Option to select which type of 3D to use like the TP,STS, etc.. and I keep on trying to try and select which Content Format and I need to play splitscreen without splitscreen and plz help so I don't need to worry about it anymore AND! I can select the format on my Blu-Ray but not on my Xbox so someone help me out here PLZ!

yup, works the same for xbox360 =) just tested it. Made splitscreen much more fun!
