Today we bring you the inaugural episode of our new segment "Florida in Focus"...these pieces take a look at some of the things you can only see down here in the Sunshine State...everything from Coral Castle to a midnight sea turtle hatchling hunt. For this episode my Managing Editor and I traveled to St. Petersburg for a 36-hour tour a la the New York Times travel section...check out Part 1 of our two-parter right now on the Watercooler Diaries from KBTVonline!
the bridge you depict at 1:12 was struck by a ship back in the 80's, with a high amount of loss of life- very distasteful kate

When McCain was asked how we can have cheaper gas prices, he said lets wreck the beautiful Florida coastline.....The Tour Floridas Coast DVD is showing everyone how nice Floridas coast is....lets keep it nice and tell exxon to take a decrease in profits, say no to nasty oil wells, they wreck americas playgrounds...our beaches....President, Tour Floridas Coast

I grew up in St. Pete and it's so boring. South Florida, mainly on the southeast coast is soooo much more fun. If you want peace and quiet, St. Pete is the place for you.
