NEW 911 VIDEO OF A JET on Sept. 11 2001

In the evening of Sept. 11 2001, my kids and I saw this large black jet come in from the west, bank to the south and then bank back to the east. It was a big, black looking and very quiet. I can usually hear a rumble from jets this close. This was approximately 7:20 pm. I shot this with my Panasonic vhs-c recorder. In 2003 I put this on a dvd with my new computer. I made a neat video with openings and closings using a video maker. I took this back off the dvd and decided to upload this video because of all the home footage I have seen here on you-tube. This was a strange event because all planes had been grounded earlier that day. Maybe some of you out there can describe this jet. Thank you for looking.

OK. It COULD be Air Force 1. I thought I had heard that, from when he left Sarasota, FL, Bush was taken by AF1 to an air base in Nebraska. Now, in a direct flight path from Nebraska to Washington D.C., AF1 would almost directly fly over Cornell, Illinois. But that would depend on when AF1 left Nebraska for DC.

@AntnyDsmn AF1 did fly just south of Cornell earlier because people I used to work with saw it with its escorts. My insurance guy has a photo of the contrails the jets left. It flew more over Pontiac about 10 miles to the southeast. This one had no escorts. really quiet for as big as it was. Being a hub for Chicago out here, jet traffic is heavy. After they were shut down and clear blue sky took over, this loner stood out fast. Ran in the house and got the vhs-c camera.

@nibus9 That's right. We didn't have the internet then. We didn't know who we should send any copy of this video to. Like I described, in 2003 i used my new computer to take the camcorder video and make it digital and put it on a dvd. Then in 2006 I took it off the dvd and uploaded it asking what kind of plane it was. We are a hub for Chicago traffic. Seeing no planes all afternoon was eerie. Then this lone big black jet comes through. I just wanted to know what kind it was.

@denechezhe why the time DUH, if you bother to R E A D, this was shot in Illinois at 720pm. That's when we were outside. We had watched events all day on tv and knew the no fly was in effect. Being a hub for Chicago air traffic, we have lots of air traffic. Seeing no jets was strange. Seeing the jet come in from the west I got the camera and shot what I could. I made no claim other than ask what kind of jet it is
