Very painful to watch. From the comments of the women in the video, it seems they are completely lacking in sound education on female development and health. I hope that there are initiatives to remedy this gap. I'm certain that there are traditional practices that are positive and healing, but there is no reason to perpetuate traditions that harm girls and impact their health.
