It doesnt look _exactly_ like the FarCry2 style or maps.

But its very close to them.

The vegetation in FarCry2 is much better than the vegetation in Crysis.

And I like the FarCry2 graphics even more, too.

that map was released before farcry 2 was released, when ubisoft start working on it, and they was only 3 or 4 pictures of far cry 2, sorry for my bad english =D

Looks really great but not so much Far Cry 2... It's too green. But I think it's better like this, gives it a unique feeling, kind of... :)

And btw, all i did was state that the IMAGE is pixels, because, that's what is rendered, thats the point of high resolutions, to make it render more, smaller PIXELS on screen for HQ renders.

They are still all models made with modelling programs in either game. Your comment

uh, no, you are such a fucking liar. If you have ever even touched around with crysis at ALL you would KNOW that they have physics based wind-effects built right into the engine, hence why you can set up wind to come from any direction you want and the power of the wind effects how things move and travel and bending. Also, crysis plants use the PHYSICS engine to make the collisions on them move the leaves. Far Cry is the one that uses animations.

Im a graphic artist, so everything you just said is a huge lie, and it also disaprooved of what you said previously in your comment "that's what the image you see is made of, pixels."

And plants are formed of pixels, and on crysis, they are also sprited.

There are no wind effects in crysis, but when the nuke is happening, they use animations of the plants, nothing else.

And the plant life is wii status.
