when i was a kid, we lived rural oklahoma and i had frequent bloody noses... an old cherokee woman my dad knew told my parents to tie a red string around my neck.... they did and my bloody noses stopped.... she also told him to take yeast tablets for his boils... and used a hot bottle and thread to pull them out and they went away... cool stuff thats all :-)

I am a hereditary psychic. That suffices for me me. The rest is elementary, physics that is! Good show Wolvie. A pity YouTube censored the soundtrack because of copyright.
cheers.

I agree. Just because something is old, doesn't make it better. People who make claims and ask for money are nothing but charlatans.

Excellent! I had not heard the terms 'red thread', 'silver thread' before but I know what you mean. No doubt some fam trads are authentic. Herb craft / wise woman traditions may have survived in rural families. However, most modern Paganism is reconstruction and re-inspiration : silver thread. But so what! It is no less inspired or inspiring. If it works, it works. If it connect you to deity, it is valid. Very well said and great music!!!

Hi chrisbass48 I have to agree with the comments below,no one should charge to help others. The other thing is there is no such thing as true blood traditions. Most traditions have added other traditions to there art,so there is no such thing as pure blood line.I always thought the red tread was refering to the spirits, and not actually the blood line itself.I might be mistaken though.

The Red Thread is not so much a Bloodline but a handing down of the Tradition through initiation & such.
