for most of my clear pieces I have used stained glass paint
-
You should have bought designer's color lol
-
I'm gonna take your advice and buy those clear paints if I ever want to get any 00 second season kits.
-
personally i prefer to use sharpies or other markers for the clear parts^^ i painted them with tamia clear grean on my HG OO gundam and cherudim and it looked kinda terrible... im just not good with colors :P
when you do it with a marker it will dry quicker, wont form pools or bubbles and will look a lot smoother overall! i recommend that for everyone who is like me and just cant use a brush properly! XD

I bought this model at Anime Castel in NYC since its my last vacation day before colledge and I gotta say I wish the duel guns weren't molded in all white

@rrobbert184 The red frame came out less then a year! I'm suprised
-
because the guns arent a direct grey.
from what im seeing in the instruction manual, it looks to be almost the same color in the season 1 model kits, that weird purply-grey color you see in the rubber pieces

He did mentioned that he did mix it. the X-20 is a paint thinner, which mean it makes the paint a little less thin and more dense so you can paint on it without problem. I recommend you to use a little if you want to mix because it turns runny(like he said).

the only odd thing about the 1/100 cherudim and 1/100 arios gundams is that they are $32 on all sites ive checked.... when theys should be $28 and seravee 2nd most costly for the 1/100's
-
both are high grade(HG),ofcause same....
random question, have u ever bought the 1/100 astray red frame? im sure u would like it

i haven't, as i think i'd prefer the MG when it comes out (now that the blue frame is coming, it seems inevitable).

id prefer a MG as well, but do you think they"ll make a MG out of a gundam that already has a PG? i want to belive so, but i highly dout it

when bandai chooses to make a kit, how many recolors/redesigns it allows them to do is always considered. since they're releasing a MG Blue Frame, i'm sure we'll see a MG Red Frame, but it could be up to a year away.

what's the difference between 1/100 and 1/144 models
JVLRHappy 2 years ago
size and price. 1/00 models are usually 18cm, and in this case cost around $25. 1/144 models are about 13cm, and cost around $12.
