A noted futurist, Dr. John Richardson, has said that, "[w]hen it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened." This distinguished panel will present different perspectives on what the federal courts, and the broader legal system in which it functions, may look like in 20 years. From their unique vantage points, they will also suggest what the courts must do to "make the future happen."
