Anyone know how to get the UK dvd to work here in the US? Player can't seem to read it.

I ordered it from Amazon UK--yippee!--it hadn't even appeared on the Zeitgeist films list anymore (I haven't checked recently). BUT--it couldn't play on my DVD player here in the USA. Something about the country code. Any tips. thanks so much! I kind of just stumbled upon this film when it came out, and was stunned by it's sanguine and eloquent presentation.

The singer is Frances Faye. Who played cabaret on Sunset Blvd 1950 -1960. I remember seeing her and a song she sang that sticks in my mind, "Rats in My Room". Far out!

Bruce Weber is very inspirational to the way I work. He is a very lucky man.

Weber's films are brilliant time capsules on the past and present. Maybe a tad too personal for a general audience, but a closer look at the artist and his influences for his fans. I just wish I could get "Broken Noses," "Let's Get Lost" and "Chop Suey Club" on DVD.
