I love this better than the original wacky races, mainly for its all-star cast. Still wish Dick Dastardly would win once though.

that's weird Scooby Doo the Flinstones the Jetsons and Wacky Races and their two spinoffs all on DVD!!!!!

No, Disney would have only had the rights to air the show on their channel, said rights have very likely have become expired years ago, it will be Warner Bros. who will be responsible for ALL of Hanna-Barbera's shows released on DVD.

Hopefully not, but like I said I don't know. The animated segments are defenatily Hanna Barbera owned, and I'm guessing so is the live action segments. There shouldn't be anything wrong, but they might have to make a few changes if they used copyrighted sound effects or music, usually they change these for DVD releases, not so much official BGM or the theme itself, but if they used a well known song for a segment in their show.
Toady525, Warner Bros. haven't gotten round to releasing any Hanna Barbera shows from the 80's just yet, but hopefully one day they'll make a start.

Dude, I wish that they would wise up and release WAKE, RATTLE & ROLL, along with other cool Hanna-Barbera favorites! I agree!

They haven't even got around to releasing quite a few HB shows from the 70's either, so it might be a long wait. Plus there's probably a few other copyright issues involving this show to sort out before a DVD release can be produced, but I'm not sure. It seems everything is owned by Hanna Barbera which ho[pefully means there won't be any serious issues, but small things like music cues or sound effects could lead to copyright conflicts etc.

WAKE, RATTLE & ROLL has copyright issues!? WOW! I just hope that eventually this show makes it on to DVD because its WAKE, RATTLE & ROLL that got me into robots!

Thanks for the response, but how about this. Wake Rattle & Roll was the original name, however the show was shown on Disney Channel, with a new name, JUMP, RATTLE & ROLL, but it's still Hanna Barbera, would Disney be involved with the DVD release?
