  • +1 Piper/The Babys

I paid .63(not a typo) to see the show.

It was a radio station promo show. Both bands killed.

Would love to see some live video of Piper.

Have both Piper albums and hung with Billy through

Tale of the Tape.A cool artist MTV screwed.

  • OMG! I was at that show as well. The Babys were totally forgettable but Piper kicked. I agree, the first two albums were the best. Too bad I can't seem to find them on CD or download.

  • Great band!! Saw them open up for The Babys in 1977. IMHO their 2 Lp's are better than any solo stuff Billy has put out. Wish there was some "live performance footage available.

  • Great album...still like Billy's solo stuff better, it's stronger.

  • Like this better than any solo stuff

  • Had to be right around 1976 went to the Boston Garden to see ELO and Piper opened for them, my first time hearing Billy Squier ...they blew the garden away with this album!

  • I am.

    Scott

  • wtf kinda shit is this.... owell thats why thye make edited versions.

  • Holy BIG STAR melange. I had no idea! Interesting.

  • Billy before the big fuss ,what a great guy

  • @zorro5280 I grew up in Boston, went home to visit family and BCN was gone...I was in shock.

  • Labor Day Weekend, 1976. I'm moving into my first college dorm room. I plug in my stereo, get WBCN totally by accident, and this song is the first thing to welcome me to the city of Boston. Now THAT'S a memory.

  • Luv this band!

  • @dwtime This was Billy Squiers group before he went solo

  • Classic Power Pop!

  • Power pop at it's finest - saw these guys in the late 70s - I think tickets were 2.66 each in NYC - strange price, great show

  • Thanks so much for posting this!
