t wait...ive been practicing on the water and i can cast almost clear across the pond...but it doesnt matter when they aren`t biting..haha -
those mountains are unreal! wow,beautiful..in indiana all i see are fields..

whats the difference in a 3 wt, rod and a 5 wt.? im startin fly fishn this year and id like to know...i have a 7 wt. scientific anglers rod and reel(it came in a kit)

the lower the number the lighter the rod. it all depends on what you are fishing for, a 7wt is really heavy for fishing trout where i am. i think one the perfect rods for trout fishing is a 8 1/2 foot 5wt.
