you see, there are different ways to dance tango..

the argentine one, which features close holds, crossing legs in front of each other, not moving much, being close to each other.

in contrast to that you have the international standard tango, created in europe, it has the same origins as the argentine one

as the time passed by, it became more and more athletic and sharp, and made it's way out of the social ballrooms onto the competetive dance floor. this video shows int. std. tango.

  • @krempel80

and you are right, it is really nice dancing, would love to be able to dance int. tango like this too...

i hope i didn't sound like a teacher, that's not my intention...just wanted to clear this up for all those "hey this is no real tango" guys...

    have a nice day:)

  • Damn! What a crap kind of tango!

  • The posture and the brisk movements look comical, and most of all rather uncomfortable to the dancers themselves. I wonder why anyone likes this.

  • @davidgachaves How boring that the Argentinians tango fans do nothing, but denigrate and offend and insult all that is not their dance and their dancers. I am really tired of their arrogance and rudeness of cavemen, they believe they have only their legs and feet hearts and feelings feel right to call other people dancing in a different way "shit" or laugh at them. The shit is just them and their bad mood and envious of evil cavemen.
