One of the most visible examples of regional trade imbalances are the millions of empty shipping containers heading back to Asia from other parts of the world. Storing and moving such cargo containers takes up valuable space on docks and on ships. And this wastes energy, causes pollution and costs money. VOA Correspondent Steve Herman reports from New Delhi that an Indian invention could eventually cut in half the total volume of empty containers shipped.

  • Great idea but as a repairer of containers for over 26yrs , how much more to repair, what about been wind and water tight , or food containers. all good until you need to fix them.
