No thank you for listening. The patriot is the most versitile guitar on the market. With the coli taps engaged you can achieve some incredibly full acoustic tones. These guitars are kickass. I bought one almost a year ago now and if given the choice between an American Strat, a Les Paul, or the MK Patriot LTD, it would be the LTD every time.

Berkley huh? I have a friend that is in the music therapy program there. He's a mandolinist and percussionist. Alex Wade is the name.

thank you so much for your kind words about my playing. :)It means alot that anyone takes the time to check out some of my licks. Now to your question.This is all played through a crate VTX 212.The acousticness you hear is the patriot in the middle position and the neck pickup coil tap engaged.These guiars are absoultly incredible at getting real woody sounds like a acoustic electric.The only other effects on there are alot of reverb and a little chorus.

What effects are you using to get that lovely "acoustic" sound? It's rare to get such an authentic sound.Mind you, your playing helps!

Absoluty it is. Ill link you to me doing some things like that on here. These things have alot of soul and are endlessly versatile. Just check out my page i do some solo jazz and playing over a few tunes. Its an incredble instrument. I attend the Berklee College of Music and go from trad jazz to blistering metal every day and this baby doesnt skip a beat. I highly reccomend. Happy playing and thanks fro the message. -Thom
