@Praxxus55712 Oh yea they do! We used to have basset hounds, and if we weren't vigilant, they'd dig up and eat ALL our carrots! I would never have guessed they'd love CARROTS! Maybe you should have fed your dogs the icky ones and seen if they stil liked them ; )

@RGYOGI It's actually pretty easy to do. After picking like he just did, make sure you tear off the greens, and just put them tightly packed into a plastic pot, and fill with potting soil, you might want to water every few weeks or so. The important thing is the next spring to plant them out into the garden again. Do at least 6 or more if you plan on saving seeds for years and years. To see an example just look on youtube there's a great video.

@AJBiddle7 I chopped them into thick slices and froze them all. I had an insane amount of frozen carrots that lasted more than a year. I even had enough to toss to the dogs. They LOVE carrots. :)

@RGYOGI It takes two seasons for a carrot to produce seed. I've always bought my carrot seeds.
