Not forgetting that the most obvious answer is nearly always wrong in this panel show, the guests are asked to answer this ostensibly simple question with hilarious banter. Comedy genius from BBC Worldwide.

  • All of the 5 senses cover all of the various senses mentioned in this segment.

  • @xXeeDeeXx Nothing can really touch anything if you bring it down to the atomic level. Electrons can't touch due to Pauli's exclusion principle, and nucleii don't touch unless they are undergoing nuclear fusion. However, to say that the atoms that make skin never meet the atoms of the object you touch is simply incorrect. They do and potentially react, an example of which is spilling an acid on your hand. The constituant parts of skin will react with the acid, which is why acid burns

  • @MADMANx511 And you actually have never touched anything. The atoms which make your hand never meet the atoms of the objects you touch.

  • 19 people have no sense at all :)

  • @MADMANx511 I agree, touch is a collection of senses.

  • I don't believe a sense of "Touch" is really a sense. You don't feel that something is soft, you just "feel" the fabric reacting to your hand moving it. Same as if you touch metal, you might "feel" that it's cold (or hot) but it doesn't "feel" particularly like anything.

I hope this makes sense to someone, I could have worded that a lot better, but still.

  • @UphamE Well obviously the kind of idiot that's an Idiot! and he was wearing sandals

  • @UphamE Stephen said he was wearing sandals

  • @UphamE unless there's dog poo in the yard i don't see the problem

  • Surely if his toe flew up and took his eye out he'd have to be mowing the lawn bare-footed. What kind of idiot would mow their lawn bare-footed?
