Hi guys ! Does anyone know what is the best soundcard to use with Sonar 7 on Windows 7? I have a Realtek HD but it gives me sometimes static noise and cracks when listening. Is an USB interface better than passing directly through the soundcard ? I used before the Adobe Audition and never had any problem but I changed to Sonar

Can you take software synthesizers from other programs and put them into sonar to use the same way as the sonar synths?

Yes SONAR will take any VST or DXI soft synth. You use them the same way you would use the included synths.

Sonar just keeps getting better with time. Who needs Pro Tools with this line up! Only problem I have is I keep getting an awful seashore noise when I use some plug ins like ToxicIII or PoiZone. Irritating the hell out of me. Any suggestions?

Those are Image Line plugins and their plugins do that in demo mode. Only solutions is to get the full version.

hi there i have a question . am using sonar producer 7 ? i need to figure out how to monitor the overall levels of all the channels to prevent peaking i had a look around and the master channel is not going up or down during playback. am i mising something ?

In SONAR all tracks can be routed to busses, then the busses can be routed to the master out. If you have all your tracks going to one bus (usually called master)and the tracks are clipping try turning them each down a little bit. Then add a compressor to the master bus.
Hope that helps.
