To improve even more, read the notes 2:27 as if they were quarter notes. Keep a CONSTANT rhythm and evn if you messed up do not let yourself go back in the middle of reading. Just keep looping it. Once you hit the end, go back to the beginning as if it nevr ended while keeping rhythm. Also another good tip is to read all three of the scores as if they were in treble then all three as if they were in bass. Then once you think you got it down, read them in a constant rhythm in their proper cleff.

I agree. Unless you're some robot who can process things in half a second, memorizing things like "every good boy does fine" will slow you donw >.< I know, i tried to do that when I was learning piano. worst mistake ever

i somehow learnt short version(beginner) of fur elise w/o doing this cuz my teacher gave me the sheet w/ letters, I love the song but I have to learn how to sight read now to learn the full song ._.

when i started playing, i teach my self how to play n wht i do is put the letter uder the note so i kw wht it is then when i play i just look at the letter, but after a while i leaner without putting it having the notes there...it realy easy :)
