@Lichbane1 It isn't fair to say that Anette lacks emotion; she does not express emotions in the same fashion as Tarja, which can be both good and bad; it can easily be said that Tarja has more power when it comes to this type of song, though, vastly due to her training as an opera singer, giving her that sort of haunting, echoing sound. Anette's a bit more pop-sounding, but also has a very strong control over tempo and the range of her voice, which is where her emotion comes from.

Not almost. Always. Tarja is a musical goddess. I miss her in Nightwish

Ya okay. so this is obviously tarja singing... nobody has ever heard aNything like that so that much is apparent.... but is this EITHER ONE or is it a collection of 3 or 4 different women? they keep switchin on me and it's f***in with my head!!! theres friggin 20 of them. how many tarja lookalikes does it take to make a video? JUST ONE but we went over board anyway cause we know our viewers got a 15 percent chance of being sober, which leaves an open field of strawberries for an open mind.

has anyone ever noticed that the soft side of metal and metal ballads are almost always EPIC!!!

I like this version WAY better than the 2005 version. IMHO Tarja sounded best during the Oceanborn and Wishmaster era. Such a beautiful song, she sings with so much emotion.
