I think you all have a very good stage appearance. Look how long you've been in the business; you're still getting gigs and you're still relevant. Now with youtube you're getting new fans; everything's coming up roses man.

Love your playing, Baz, but that has to be the messiest stage I've ever seen!

In a lifetime of many mistakes getting rid of the Zum was one of the biggest. I wanted to try a D-10. I'll have to miss Dallas I think. I'm on chemotherapy and I'm supposed to stay away from crowds. Would love to hear you in person.

Hi Basil, lovely sound, playing as ever - it just annoys me that the audience aren't listening! Or is this being played in a 'general' hall where other things are going on?
Bas, I love every thing you play. Always great tone and execution. The world is a better place for having your musicin it. And Pat is a wonderful guitar player, always sounds just right. Howard Tate

Thanks for the Kudos Howard, how's the U12 Zum treating you ?
Give our regards to all in Leesville.
Pat and myself may be going to the Texas Steel Guitar Association's 2010 Jamboree in March. Will YOU be there ?

Well, both Pat and I are quite conscious of the general indifference shown to our playing and are becoming quite used to it. In fact we've often said to each other "Shush" whilst quietly talking at others performances and oft wondered why the same courtesy isn't afforded us ?
Still. all in all, we enjoy playing so much that as long as ONE person appreciates us, that's suffice to make it worthwhile.

The only OTHER thing going on, was musicians discussing our equipment, style, material and (we think) our rather old and enormous appearance.
With me looking and behaving like a frightened Meerkat and Pat trying to hide behind the music stand we must surely look far removed from the music we attempt to portray.
Sorry about the 'split post' the 500 character limit would be daunting even to someone economical with words, like Bill Hankey !!
The A note at the end of the guitar solo in Lahina is ???
