Dear Crossbreed, please get rid of the crosses. C'mon Crossbreed, you should know better by now. C'MON CROSSBREED! Overall an excellent IWB holster for maximum concealability.

  • How is the retention, when it's on and you go to draw it - pretty hard to get out?

  • @Castleknight it's easy to get out, very easy actually. it's not going to fall out on its own when IWB but it's loose enough to draw easily (more so than the MTAC). this holster also has a very pleasant snapping noise when holstering and a hard-to-describe cool drawing noise. these sounds aren't found on all supertucks though

  • I was concerned abut the retention ability of the Crossbreed holsters. It seems to be hit or miss. Is it really the most comfortable hoster out there?

  • @RIPbiker13 Most people that have the SuperTuck say that it's a medium-loose retention, but i'd say it's more of a loose retention like you saw in the video. It seems that the SuperTucks are consistent with its rentention. I was really surprised at how tight the MiniTuck is, I was expecting it to be loose like the SuperTuck. I think if you're going to get the SuperTuck you can expect a loose retention, but if you're getting a MiniTuck, you should expect it to be tighter.

  • Excellent video man! Very good description of the mini tuck. Keep up the excellent work and hope to see more from you in the future!

  • @chanderson1 thanks! yeah i wanted to do this video like 2 months ago lol been busy, seems like we both uploaded a bunch of videos today

  • Yeah and Nike should get rid of the swoosh as well. I'm looking at my shoes now and there's six of em on each shoe! So do you hate all logos or just the cross?

  • If it came any looser, the kydex would break in to a point that is much too loose. You want it to be too tight initially.

  • where do u wear it?

  • Also you can use a hair dryer to adjust the retention by heating up the Kydex and molding it to your pistol as desired. If you aren't comfortable with doing this yourself Crossbreed has excellent support. Send them the holster and they will fix it up and send it right back. Doesn't take long at all.

  • I recommend ordering the J-hooks with the Supertuck. They are unadorned and go behind your belt so they are much less conspicuous.

  • Good video but if you are going to review a holster you should wear it so we can see how it looks and conceals. I have a lot of pretty looking holsters that do not carry or conceal well. :)

  • What is the combat cut?

  • @WinefrideofWales All you have to do is adjust the clips which will go up or down to make it a custom fit. It comes in the bottom position which means it will ride the highest. Try the middle or even the top position for a much lower ride. It will take all of 3 minutes to adjust both sides.

  • Will it hold a hi-point 40 cal.?

  • I just ordered one (Supertuck) because I've heard so many good things about them. I agree though, the crosses are too much. I understand they're religious Christians, but I'm Jewish, and don't like how conspicuous they are...so I will cover the clips up with my shirt, which is no biggie because I wear my shirts untucked. I say just make the clips plain.

  • Qasarean,

Ruger LCP is meant 4 POCKET CARRYING from PocketHolster(dot)com, which is same as Kel-Tec P3AT!! ;-)

    Come on.... CARRY IWB with a SubCompact like Glock {26, 27, 30, 33, or 36}, HK P2000sk [9mm, .40S&W, and .357 SIG], Sig P250 [9mm, .40S&W, and .45 ACP], Springfield XD 3" SubCompact [9mm and 40S&W], and similar!! =)

    BTW, those EDC crowd not our CCW crowd R easiest to spot with their LAME CrossBreed Holsters that R pretty much telegraphing their CARRY all the time!! {roll my eyes}

  • bear022013,

Grow GAY Christian? I don't think so!! =/

AMERICAN Closet GAY Christians these days R mostly IDOL Worshippers anyhow! It's just a GAY Worthless SYMBOL kind of like their GAY Christian Ted Haggard, Dick Cheney with GAY daughter, George W. Bush Jr. Cross-Dressing Yale GAY Cheerleader, Mark Foley GAY Pedophile, & much more with We Ain't Coming Out these days.... lol!! >=P

BTW, many GUN OWNERS in USA R not Closet GAY Christians! Crossbreed is kind of GIRLY Holsters to me!! >=)

  • 5 minutes of "its too tight..."

  • @Castleknight Actually I carry all my weapons in the Crossbreed holster and while playing with the dog, falling down the stairs and tripping over the ottoman the gun has not fallen out. If you worried about retention you can tighten or loosen it by using a blow dryer in under 3 min following the directions provided by the company.

  • Nice review. My only complaint about the supertuck is it rides too high for me. My revolver sticks up in my ribs and way to uncomfortable. I was much more comfortable with the remora so you can adjust how deep it rides. Thanks

  • What is wrong with the symbol? It could be Celtic,Viking, what should the man or any of us do....check with Al Sharpton first. I mean Casaren....what are you afraid of man...grow up.

  • How about springing forth the extra $10 and get some J-clips if you don't like the crosses? I understand what your saying about the crosses giving it away, but two plain clips give it away too. If somebody knows what they're lookin' for, they're gonna notice it either way. But then again, I don't believe giving it away is what you're worried about.

  • 2:36 Apparently the name "Crossbreed" has more to do with their heavy christian influences.

    From their "About Us" section:

"larger meaning behind his company’s name references the Lord Jesus Christ and His sacrifice upon the cross which was made for all mankind."

I guess it's like free advertising... on a gun holster. O.o

Frankly I'm not religious, so I'd rather not have crosses all over my belongings. If I buy this, I'll probably grind it off with a dremel if it's even possible.

  • I just purchased one for my Kahr p380. I havent recieved it yet but i was wondering do they make any combos that would hold the gun and a extra mag??

  • there are different clips bud.

  • there's a reason why it fits tighter to begin with. first off I think they did make it a tighter fit, but your gun has to wear in the leather and then it gets easier. I have this holster and now you can clearly see an outline in the leather of the gun. the kydex takes quite a bit of heat to get it to reshape. a heat gun can be used and you can adjust retention on loose holsters too.

  • how is wear on your firearms, maybe post a vid? im just curious because i own a black kimber and a black HK p2000 and dont want to have to refinish a gun sooner than usual. ??
