@Kakorat009 Many animal fight, even a roaster. Even tigresses fight. It is too simple to say that lions are built to fight. They do have territories to defend, but they hardly fight as you think. They roar as a first line of defense, hoping that would avoid fights. If they do fight, it would last long. Hardly do lions want to fight to death. On the other hand, it is known that Bengal tigers fight to death. Watch more clips, you'd see the point. if you mind is open. But it doesn't seem to be.

@BillD2012 That's bull! Lions are built for fighting. I see videos of lion beating small tigers with no problem. Lions have more advantages. That includes the mane. Charles Darwin described an event where the lion's mane protected the from injury.

about both lion and tiger..many think that the lion and tiger just an animals..

but they are so smart and intelligent by differentiate between human and animal..

we all remember the tiger's clip ..when the tiger attacked the driver of the elephant

and in anther clip.there is stupid commentator has said .(tiger climbed a tree to attack the helicopter)..

do you think tiger will eat helicopter?

if it's stupid will not allow a human filming them any movie

@tuonglan282 False. Every in the cat family climb trees. Even cheetahs. Tigers climb better than lions, not as well as leopard. Some smaller do best.

@drake1431 False. Lions used to live in Europe, there were no tigers. Then Romans found tigers and pit the two for fun. And found tigers are better fighters.

@GatlingGunMaster That never happens. Even for many lions it is very hard. Only hippo calves. There is hardly a solo lion taking buffalos either.

@SuperGuerreroXY Tigers can't survive in the environment where lions are, being solitary. Tiger's stripes are suitable in forests. Neither can lions if solo. Both would get killed by pack animals like hyenas and large pack of wild dogs.. Nor can lions hunt well if solo.

@Kakorat009 Wrong! lions fighting is the poorest among cats, just better than cheetahs. Since they have weaker legs, they run much slower. When cats fight, they don't bite the throat in the beginning. Only lions do this. Compared with tiger, lions have little advantage, 1 on 1 they have difficulty dealing with small tigers. When fight with bigger ones, they get killed very quickly, if the tiger wants to do so.
