Will Canadian oil go to China instead of US?

The US imports approximately half of its oil from Canada, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Venezuela. The US is Canada's biggest purchaser of crude oil, but now Canada has a potential client, China. Is Canada looking to the future on behalf of its economy? In the past Canada has claimed it would not do business with countries who don't respect human rights. Why the change of heart? Canada is actually eyeing on China's technology including space technology, bullet trains, stealth fighters, advanced eco-building, most importantly,,they wana to access the world's faster super computer in China to see if they can copy something....so dont even let me come.

As for the oil: Every nation that does not convert to a renewable energy society will have big problems in the future. Peak oil and (in some time) peak coal is coming. Not to mention peak phospourus

Because China pays for it. Western companies are multi national and doesn't work for a country, even tough that non nationalistic tought may be unfamiliar for you. Just search up "bombardier china train" in google^^
