@imaginepeace63 No. They reported Gore first as well. If they neglected to get all the votes in at first, then maybe this wouldn't have happenned. They actually reported Gore along with the others, yet he still demanded recounts after more votes came in. You're right it doesn't matter anymore. Yes, america still has the same voting machines, along with paper ballots, and computer button pushing as well.

@puttputtking Is that why all the networks except for the republican mouthpiece reported Gore first. They only reported Bush after Fox did. Bush V Gore no longer matters now. What matters is that America goes to paper ballots now. Or else our elections will never be truly honest. Machines and Citizens united are more of a threat to elections than ID fraud.

@imaginepeace63 As for the Citizens United Case, well they went through about a month of recounting mutiple times since Gore had demanded that. Besides they ruled it as the recount of being in violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, and this was way after the recount started too.

@imaginepeace63 It was Gore who kept demanding a recount. All the recounts were showing Bush in the Lead. Gore was unable to accept that fact. Is Greg Palalst a liberal too sticking up for Gore? Most likely if you mentioned him. I think the touch machines are much more simple to use anyway and Gore even said in one speech after the election that they had to recount votes in 8 florida counties, because those had not yet been counted. The votes weren't all in. The election was fair.

@puttputtking Greg Palalst, who was in the documentary, the count kept coming up for Gore but republicans sent their staffers to protest a recount and create the illusion that people didn't want one.There is a photo that identifies the staged protesters as staffers from republicans in office. Now many battleground states have touchscreen voting macxhines that can be rigged for an any candiate to win. A computer does the work of the programmer not the operaters. votes should be counted by hand

@imaginepeace63 No apparently the problem with Florida is the panhandle lives in Central Time and the rest of Florida lives in Eastern time, there was a problem with the time change and it was Gore who kept demanding a recount. The votes kept showing that Bush was ahead time after time and he still demanded a recount. Most of his supporters went to Bush, because they thought Gore was being too childish about demanding a recount mutiple times.

@puttputtking Florida voted for Gore. But the Supreme court supported Bush. So did Gov, at the time, Jeb and State Sec Katherine Harris. Harris created a fraudlent felon list to prevent likely democratic voters to vote. This is proven in Greenwald's documentary Unprecidented.

@puttputtking Scalia, Thomas, Kennedy, Alito and Roberts supported Citizens united vs FEC which gives corporations ulimited power to contribute funds to any candiate they choose for elections. THis takes the elections out of the hands of the people and puts it in the hands of rich CEOS and other powerful billionaires like the Koch brothers. O'Connor supported the decision that over turned the peoples vote in Bush V Gore along with Scalia, Thomas, Kennedy and Reniquest.

They questioned why Obama appointed her. What exactly did Roberts and Alito do to the court? You probably thinked Sandra Day O'Connor was bad when Reagan appointed her. Sotomayor as been known as being nasty and saying some wrong things to the wrong people. Yeah they're pretty poison for the supreme court, you're party is not perfect.

The Governor is not progressive. This bill could have been introduced by the state republicans that the Teabaggers elected. 20% of the state government is republican.
