This clip is from a video that was taken by my team in Nyabihu district, one of the windiest locations in Rwanda. It is going to be part of our upcoming documentary "U Rwanda rw'Umuyaga". If this is how the wind blows at ground level, how much does it blow at 50m and more above the ground? Keep in mind that wind speed increases with altitude and lack of ground friction.

  • Listen how this wind is blowing. This area is the windiest location in the nation of Rwanda. I will be generating megawatts of electric power with this wind.
