I agree with a couple of earlier comments that this song does not sound like country music. It sounds like her first two ablums of pop music, except maybe a little more low-key.

It's a nice song, regardless of the "genre."

it's not suppose to be a country. it's acoustic and i think that is what is confusing people. the song was written and recorded before she even went pop.

This isn't country! This might be called classic American Popular. I'm really glad she is back! I bot the Wreckers CD but I'm sure I never played it twice. Michelle's partner should have been a back-up singer for Michelle...her friend just wasn't on the same level. I'm sure the Wreckers were a good career move for Michelle. It will translate into a longer career.

GUYS, for those who think that she went totally country and if you miss her pop/rock music, YOU GUYS ARE IN FOR A TREAT. Her new single for her new album is OUT called "Sooner or Later" and it is NOT very country sounding at all, more along the lines of Bon Jovi's Lost Highway song.
