This is the perfect gun for home defense,in my opinion. The only drawback of a pump/semi auto is if you leave it fully loaded, the internal spring takes a set after a while and it won't feed. and with this gun there is no danger of short stroking the action. Also several companies make shell spacers that would allow you to use 20 gauge buckshot in the 12 gauge chamber, which would be great for a smaller female who might flinch at the recoil of a bigger gun Thanks for the vid,great quick overview

I live in Nevada and I go to the gun store pick out any rifle or shotgun I want , fill out a criminal background check form, then a 5 to 15 minute wait for the check to clear. I then take my newly purchased firearms home on the spot ,no waiting or cooling of period. all in less than half an hour. pistols I can do the same, except I have to register these through the county sheriff.

It would be nice if they could make this gun with a matched set of barrels, one being 28 inches (as in the "Hunter" version of this gun) and other being short barrels like the tactical version. That way you could use the same frame for both uses.
Alternatively, just buy one each of the tactical and hunter versions.
With either approach mentioned above you could maintain full familiarity with the weapon for either defense or shooting sports applications.
