Bahn mi's have to be my absolute favorite food because they're the perfect balance of flavors and textures. Most bahn mi's I've tried include: Pickled cucumbers and carrots which are surprisingly sweet; grilled marinated pork which is always delicious; cilantro for a nice bite of freshness; jalepeno for spiciness; and some kind of buttery or creamy sauce slathered over the crispy french bread. It's the perfect sandwich. Try one!

I went there last summer after seeing this particular episode. Lo and behold when I got there they were all out of bread. 9000 miles over there just to find out they were out of bread... fml. Although I did go back later and finally got one of their sandwiches. Easily one of the best I've ever had.
