Christmas Cocktail Contest

Nona Pontiff of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., concocted the winning cocktail in the Circa 1886 Christmas Cocktail Contest. Pontiff's winning submission was the Gingerbread Mansion Martini, a nod to both the holiday season and the Holy City's many mansions, including the Wentworth Mansion, which houses Circa 1886 in the former carriage house. The martini included vanilla vodka, dark chocolate liqueur, fresh ginger root infused simple syrup. The martini glass was garnished with crushed graham crackers.
