How often does this happen ? OFTEN !! Do some guys do this INTENSIONALLY to superstar people like Cosell ? YES !! Why ? Because he makes $5 million per year and I make $350 bucks per week, he gets a limo to work and I take the miserable subway. How does it feel to get even ? NOT GOOD !!

He overbooked himself. I guess he figured that there never ever would be any technical problems at any of his venues, so he didn't feel he needed any margin for errors.

@musicmandon1 Given what he's talking about with Pete Axthelm off-mike here, this must have happened arpound the time that Weeb Ewbank retired as Coach of the New York Jets and got his son-in-law Charlie Winner installed as his replacement in a very controversial move. That would make it either very late '73 or very early '74 most likely.
