When it comes down to it...the only one responsible for situations like this is Japan itself...for allying itself with a psychopath like Hitler....granted dropping an atomic bomb upon a nation is in it's own right horrible....but isnt the needless killing of millions also equally terrible??

I guess common sense will tell anyone that if you make a new weapon, more powerful than any other, then everyone else will make one.

If we're discussing about Einstein's part in this, I honestly don't believe he wanted it to be a weapon. There is nothing wrong about atomic bombs, only the way people view them, and the way people use them.

He did sign the go ahead for it to be used on Japan. There's a lot wrong with atomic bombs purely because of how people view them and use them.

I don't blame the man dropping the bomb, he was just doing his job. It's the mind behind the attack I can't work out.

If you have hundreds of thousands of people you can't say you are excused because it was "just your job to do so".

Nor can I...if Germany or Japan had the bomb instead they would have dropped it on whoever...soldiers do their duty...such is war...
