Same video as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aEFly-JDWM but with a different angle. I used the audio from the video in that link.

Special thanks go out to ANDREWANTRAK for alerting and updating me on this train and to AmtrakFan454 for providing transportation to this location. Thanks guys!

BNSF M-BARSDG, (Manifest- Barstow to San Diego,) escorts Coaster #3001 back down towards San Diego County where it belongs. This unit is on its way back from Tacoma, WA, where it underwent major overhaul. "Standard locomotive overhaul. New prime mover, updated electronics. Pretty much everything but a paint job," Andrew told me.

  • @AmtrakTitan455 I did, but it has the ones that NMRR uses...

  • 23 cars and six units?! That may be the worst powered train I have ever seen on Youtube or in my whole life. Was it going to pick up more cars?

  • Awesome vid again Brian glad to see 3001 has returned to San Diego again from repairs kinda got tired of seeing 3002.

  • we must see if 3001 acquired an e-bell too
