Sterling D. Allan dropped by unnannounced to see Kiril Chukanov in Salt Lake City on the evening of May 4, 2011.

Chukanov shows the formation of plasma (which doesn't generate overunity); then the formation of Ball Lightning. That is where the overunity shows up, he says.

He wasn't set up to measure the output at this visit.

  • ....its a microwave oven.

  • I got a feeling he is just advertising some vaporware. Several years the same thing.... New "prototypes" but lack of funding and as a result inability to close the loop at least for one model.

  • That smell is Ozone. What is happening there is there is just a plasma lamp with a much stronger current.

  • Wouldn't the same thing happen if you took a light bulb and put it in a microwave over ? Photons are highly charged particles suspended in a gas - like a neon light tube - right ?

It looks alot like a hotrod neon light to me.

  • He is asking for funding, and we have to trust he is telling the truth that the apparatus functionally outputs a coefficient of performance greater than 1. However a more effective approach to further R&D might be to instead find and give him the undisclosed needed parts rather than the cash. And since we weren't given a reason to trust the guy, perhaps it would be wise to ask for product rights or some contracted profit sharing in exchange for said parts. This technology has potential.

  • I am glad that conflict between Sterling and Kyril is a past
