ROMNEY FLIPS ON EARMARKS

This morning, Mitt's up with a new ad in Michigan slamming Rick Santorum for supporting earmarks. The thing is, before he ran for president, Mitt Romney was a pretty big fan of earmarks himself. In 2002, he requested "hundreds of millions of dollars in federal aid" for the Salt Lake City Olympics. He did it as governor of Massachusetts for the Big Dig project too, saying "I'd be embarrassed if I didn't always ask for federal money whenever I got the chance."- THE TRUTH

@agentxyz He didn't write those comments, he disavowed them, 20 years ago those comments would be accepted in society before our time of extreme political correctness, yet you cling to this irrelevant BS of a newsletter vs his voting record. He consistently voted against the tyranny that continues to creep into our lives and no one on the stump has fought harder for human rights than Ron Paul. Period.

@agentxyz I really don't care what was written in some newsletter 20+ years ago, I only care about his actions in congress which continues to to be a flawless record of supporting the constitution and trying to deny the folks in congress from spending your money needlessly. BTW he didn't walk away from that CNN interview, he felt answering 20 year old questions 6 times was enough for him. Name one candidate who is better so I can further counter your BS.

@MrConservative608 - Only to realize that four years ago Santorum fully endoresed Mitt Ronmey. Yes, the same Mitt who appeared to be everything BUT Conservative. What happened? Mitt now if far more conservatrive than he was before, how come Santorum doesn't support him anymore? Oh I know . . . He is running for the same job!
