hey, i'm interested about your extra display.

i dont get the use of this, can some one explain?

Well done--makes the functioning of this product very clear. The only thing I would add is a shot showing what a real image looks like through the screen & mirror.

You should make it out of a two-way mirror or something like that. So that when it is closed it is clear, and you can still see your viewfinder, but when it is opened you see the reflection. You can have that idea, no charge. Just send me a free sample when you make it. :)

this is stupid. the image you see is inverted.
Ha~~ it's a copy from Viewplayer from Taiwan. Viewplayer is much powerful than flipbac. Search "viewplayer" in ebay!

The Flipbac and Viewplayer are similar to an invention 80 years ago for large view cameras. So the idea is not new. The Flipbac shows a reflected view from the portrait and landscape positions(we feel more versatile). The Viewplayer shows a reflected view from the landscape position only above and below the camera (good for taking pictures of your self). Both have their merits, but we prefer the Flipbac of course!

Yes, it is inverted because it is a mirror. Just like many medium format cameras the professional photographers use today. However many who have used this method feel they take better pictures because it forces the use to concentrate on the composition. No problem really, after 5 minutes most people are used to it.

It is designed to stay on your camera. Since the Flipbac can open to more than 180 degrees- horizontally and vertically - it can easily be pushed out of the way. Of course, if you want to permanently remove it from you camera, it can be removed without damage to your LCD.
