  • haha wow! if you are ever attacked by a horde of plastic bottles you'll be safe. but the second anything with bones gets involved your sword brakes? hahaha i never use this stupid phrase but it seems to fit here. *ahem* FAIL!!

  • You hit the bone at an angle. AND the target should be above the waist.

  • Is the blade laminated or plain 9260 steel?

  • soud like pure non bending steel, ups

  • Is not a real katana

Different from the sound of broken katana

  • @waca22 your response had so many grammatical errors, that it is difficult to understand what you mean...

  • @kenshiliamateseru that bone is a tube of approximately 4 millimeters and that fridge (cold wet) increases the toughness. But if it is dry cold as you say.

  • AGAIN more problems... when you attempted to cut the bone, you didn't use the MONO UCHI or the cutting part of the blade.... so sad that you katana had to die due to operator's error:)

  • Also, your katana wasn't made of real 9260 spring steel, because 9260 has an amazing tensile strength, and it wouldn't have snapped as easily...

  • @waca22 Even if the bone was frozen, it wouldn't have, made a difference, because the inside of bone or (marrow) is a dry substance that contains no water, therefore it would not change the density or resistance of the bone if it were frozen.

  • Thirdly you had a horrible angle!!! All tameshigiri cuts should be made at 45 degree angles, not your 180 degree angles...Next time please do some research and use your brain

  • that is one of the most stupid and dangerous things that i have ever seen.:( First off, if the blade gave so much resistance with the wood, how did you expect it to cut a COW FEMUR!!!!! Secondly, attempting to cut anything hard ex. metal, thick wood, and bone without protective gear on IS STUPID BEYOND BELIEF!!!! Things could have been really bad, such as the entire mono uchi sticking through your leg!!!!!!!!
