My Rejected Oprah Audition

It was great fun to make this audition video, I knew going into this that we don't have a chance at winning... but darn I thought we watered it down enough to be added with all the other entries.

Anyway, you can rest assured that the entire (unedited) 30 min episode will air in Ann Arbor & Ypsilanti on CTN's Comcast channel 17 in July 2010.
If you would still like to vote for our show I bet a comment under the black screen on her audition site would be just fine. lol

I think it's great for everyone who gives this a go, but also equally important to read and respect the qualifying rules. People try to hijack the exposure and use oprah's vehicle to promote their stuff. Whether intentional or not, the same rules have to apply to everybody. It's our responsibility to read them and follow. All the best.

Cute Show Idea Love! Your vid probably got rejected only because you showed Brian's book. They are were REALLY serious about not promoting any labels, logos, or anything else that doesn't belong 100% to you. That really sucks because you're a fun person. Maybe you can make one of the last 2 live auditions. Best Wishes Hun.

Hey, ChickChannel, so glad to find a fellow Oprah reject, especially one equally as uplifting and life changing as mine. My upload, too, resulted in a black screen with "THIS VIDEO IS UNAVAILABLE" across it. Harpobear called it an uploading error. After two more tries, "own Team" emailed, "Your video did not meet the terms and conditions for submissions...," leaving it to me to figure out which ones. So sad that OWN's audience will miss out on our wisdom.
