It's been over 10 years since washed-up Las Vegas lounge magician Val Valentino exposed magic tricks hiding behind a mask on a series of "specials" : "Breaking the Magician's Code: Magic's Biggest Secrets Revealed". The way Valentino rationalized his exposures was to claim that he just wanted magic to improve , to "change" (Lesson: beware of hucksters peddling "change" ) so that magicians would stop performing illusions from the past , and create new and better illusions.




So, how many new tricks and illusions has Valentino created in those 10 years ?

Answer : Zero.

He's still ripping-off other magicians , still ruining the magical creations of other artists , exposing trade secrets and effects created by other people who did not give their permission for him to do so. And he's spawned many imitators . And none of these rip-off magic exposers have contributed anything new and different to magic. They don't create, they merely destroy what others have created.
